Jonathan & Robyn’s Wedding at Gildings Barn, Sussex
What an amazing wedding day! This one really did have it all: a fantastic bride and groom, wonderful family and friends, a gorgeous rustic barn venue and some seriously dramatic British weather thrown into the mix!
Jonathan and Robyn tied the knot at the tiny village church in West Grinstead, Sussex, before heading to the beautiful Gildings Barn to continue their celebrations. Set in the stunning Surrey countryside, Gildings Barn provided a wonderful backdrop for the rest of their wedding day.
One of the things I loved most about Jonathan and Robyn’s wedding was how beautifully the day was planned, with each part flowing into the next like its own perfect chapter. It made the whole celebration a real pleasure to photograph, capturing all the special moments, emotions and little details along the way.
The British weather certainly kept us on our toes! We experienced just about everything, with sunshine, dramatic skies and plenty of changeable conditions to contend with. But rather than letting it spoil a thing, everyone embraced the weather, and it added a real sense of adventure to the day.
And then, as if the weather hadn't already given us enough drama, we were treated to a spectacular double rainbow! Often considered a symbol of hope and good fortune, it was a pretty special sight and a wonderful moment to capture during their celebrations.
Throughout it all, Jonathan and Robyn’s love for each other really shone through. Their connection, the happiness shared with their family and friends, and the atmosphere of the day made it such a joy to be part of their wedding story.
