Charlotte and David’s wedding day took place at the end of February at the beautiful Ghyll manor, a 17th century country manor nestled in the Sussex countryside, in the village of Rusper, near Horsham. If you are looking for a really special venue for your wedding day be sure to take a look.
The day of the wedding was cold and the skies were grey and dull; but it really didn’t matter. The wedding party totally embraced the day, which was wonderfully relaxed and high spirited.
I began the day photographing Charlotte getting ready with her Mum, bridesmaids and maid of honour and captured some wonderful moments. Luckily David was getting ready in the same location, so i was able to photograph the groom and the best men preparing for the day too.
The ceremony was full of moving moments, looks and smiles. After a couple of family shots in the chilly wind, I took a stroll with Charlotte & David to capture some moments of them together, away from the rest of the wedding party. Despite the lack of colour in the gardens at this time of year Charlotte and David made their own warmth and sunshine.
It was a wonderful wedding day and i'm really happy with the images created. In Charlotte's words:
"It was an amazing day.Beautiful photographs. Couldn't have asked for more. Daren was fantastic."
